What is NAD+ ?

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is the active cofactor form of vitamin B3 (niacin) –a  molecule used by every cell in the body for energy production.

Brain, heart, and muscle tissue cells contain the highest amount of NAD. The more NAD present in our cells, the more  they function optimally. Damage to our cells happen as we age which leads to degenerative changes in our tissues. Metabolic syndrome, cognitive decline, cancer and aging all involve disruptions in cell signaling dependent on NAD.

Research shows IV NAD+ has benefits in treating a variety of conditions. Among them are traumatic brain injuries, autoimmune conditions, blood sugar imbalance and diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney & liver disease, cancer, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. It also can be beneficial for neurodegenerative disease such as dementia, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis. NAD+ has also demonstrated improvements in depression, alcohol and drug addiction, exercise capacity, and slow down aging.
